^&Batman:\& What's the meaning of this, commissioner?

^&Host:\& Well, the meaning of our game, as you know, is to see which of our
celebrity teams is the real Mc Coy and which are clever imposters.
I'm your host, Commissioner Gordon, and I'll be asking the tell-tale
questions and it's up to our studio audience to decide which of our
guests has opted ... "To Tell The Truth." But first, a word from

^&Host:\& Batman Number Two. There is said to be a reason why you wear that
particular mask other than concealing your identity. What is
that reason?

^&BM2:\& Uh... Goes with the suit?

^&Robin2:\& holy... yea, right, sure.
.b
^&Batman:\& No, you infidels. The reason I wear this dark cowl is to inspire
fear into the hearts of villains everywhere.

^&Robin:\& Holy... yeah, right, sure.

^&Others:\& Ohhh... la de da, etc.

^&Host:\& And finally, Batman Number 3. Your question is ... why did you begin
your illustrous career as the world's greatest detective and
crime fighter?

^&Batman:\& Well, commissioner (Batman goes into origin monologue. Robin
puts arm around him. Other begin humming louder and louder -- they
go into horrible mocking cries of grief) All right, that just about
does it. Robin, Maneuver 7. Commissioner. Theme Music.
(there is a battle)

^&Host:\& Well, I'm sorry, Batman and Robin Number 3, but beating up the other
contestants is a rather blatant infringement of the rules on our
show. So I'm afraid you're disqualified. And our winners are...
Batman and Robin #1 (yay) (they stand and wave to crowd)
