I didn't say he is really blocking it. But if it is the case - the answer is
money.
If there is not very special contract for re-release there will be only
copyright money. No usual royalties to all who played. So he will get money
only for one song as an author of Dying Seas, right?
And who will have most of the money then? Right, Dave Brock.

I think it could be enough reason for Nik.
