HW: Banco de Gaia/New Elric Book

I was listening to one of the early/rare Banco De Gaia tracks called
'Soufie' today, and in the first section theres an underlying sample, that
sounds exactly like Niks vocal stuff from Xitintoday. I can't quite make it
out though, anyone else heard this/know if it is a sample from Xitintoday?

Anyone read the new Elric book, and is it any good?
