okay, well , that's what i get for reading my mail from the bottom up instead
of from the top down....alrighty then:
landau wasnt ANY kinda producer; he was a ROCK WRITER/CRITIC....and it shows.

i'm not overly familiar w/ the history of early krugman/pearlman but didn't
they also produce the soft white underbelly unreleased stuff?>>>>i'd think it
most unlike ly that landau's "work" on "back in the usa" was any kinda
reference for them. as a kid, when the first couple BOC lp's cameout, i
reeeeely wanted to like 'em but i just didnt like the way the records
sounded...(on the other hand, much later i would hear the "in yr. mouth  etc."
boot, which was a much better representation of them at that time...)
