        Perhaps they have a philosophy similar to their previous covers
        (the ones which make up the first disk of the new set): play
        tracks that most people would otherwise NEVER hear, by
        musicians who influenced Metallica, so that the original band
        gets royalties and perhaps sells a few albums.  Lars Ulrich may
        be a prick, but at least he paid his respect to Diamond Head
        for their help to him...literally.

        I'll be *really* curious to know how the Astronomy cover helps,
        say, BOC sales.  Metallica fans are out-rabidized only by C&W
        fans.  Every band covered on that album will make money (er,
        every label will, anyway).
