OFF:Silver Apples!

I caught some tv music show the other night, it mentioned that BLUR are
doing a collaboration with the band SILVER APPLES. I remember Dave Brock
mentioning he was a fan(in an old festival eye interview), and that all
they used
were audio generators.  I know the albums have just been reissued on CD,
has anybody heard them? What are they like?

 I wonder if the next BLUR lp will be spacerock ;-)
