Poor Shari & Punky Lives!

Poor Shari - You must be swamped by this stuff by now. No fear these
Hawkwind guys know there stuff. A HW compilation tape is probably the
best way to go. I know Rob Rudich makes great tapes and has provided me
tremendous insight on the band off line. Bernhard P. (if he's still
here) has maybe the best HW collection of anyone.

Anybody notice how Best Buy has dumped most of the classic rockers and
stocks only radio music these days? Last year you could see almost 20
different HW titles, the complete BOC catalog and now both bands, as
well as larger sellers from that time period, get a single card. Prices
have also creeped up steadily. Thank God for Towers records.

Missed this somebody comparing Punky and Jeff?

>Shipley>"And I agree, JB is a helluva guitarist! One of my desert island
disks would have to be BLOW BY BLOW."

>Great choice for a desert island trip. Would you take Wired too?

>Shipley>JB is still around and active, can't say the same for ol' Punky...So,
relax, it was all a bit of humour!"

Uh I think Punky is still out there though no longer wearing the
chiffon. Gufferia (sp) has been with a couple of different outfits
since Angel. I'll check my Dream Disc catalog so don't write Punky off
>yet. I'm still hoping for a reunion tour, ANGEL LIVES! 8>).
