This is exactly what "jungle" is. It's worth pointing out that the
"drum'n'bass" in question is synth/electronic, breakbeat techno, not
bass guitar 'n' drum kit. Anyone interested should check LTJ Bukem's
"Logical Progression" CD for some immediately accessible Jungle. Another
excellent 2 x CD set is Goldie and the Metalheadz "Platinum Breakz"
this isn't quite as driving and is little more ambiant, again a perfect
point of entry.
It's not particularly new though, The Prodigy did "Ruff inna Jungle" 5
or 6 six years ago.

While jungle is playing listeners ("Junglists") are encouraged to shout
"Comm down! Selecta! Reee-wind!" etc :0)

Good jungle could honestly be said to have a fair BLANGA quotient and
while being firmly in the techno/dance arena, it sounds more organic and
warm than garage/house.
