Ahh man, I just had a great _time_...

Erm, there's worse tracks than those two, for sure :)
I cannot abide the cod reggae of Camera that could Lie or the
unlistenable Douglas In The Jungle ( Hey, maybe they could do a proper
Junglist version ;)) Don't like Dream Worker much , either. I thought
the setlist was pretty damn good, really.

I was goig to ask this question this week anyway. What's the one HW that
makes you cringe. You know, the one that unbelivers must not hear, lest
it confirm all their critisms!

What any gig? Worst sound you've ever heard at any gig ever? Now I
admit, I was a bit sloshed plus a lot of the top-end of my hearing could
have been flattened standing next to the Return To The Source system in
the foyer, (shouting in Andy and Carl's ear's, this time) however I've
been to many many gigs with worse sound. 'awkwind and otherwise.

Where were you standing? I was about 5 or 6 rows from the front to the
right (Dave-side) I thought the sound was pretty good, plenty of attack
on the drums. To be fair it wasn't the best live mix but it really
wasn't _bad_

My mate Rob did the lights! I hadn't seen him for 5 years since doing
Here & Now's crew together. I wish I'd known, I could have saved the UKP
17 for the tix. :)) The lights could've been better, though, I won't
argue!

Now you've lost me. The Ozrics were better? The Testicles could not BE
"better than Hawkwind". Dave singing in the bath would be better than
the OT's, would it not, listmembers? <g>

Plus there were literally 1.000's of Hawkfans, friends old and new ,
there all night most of whom had had a beer or several, which was even
more fun than Tribal Drift. <wide grin>

The crappest Hawkwind gig I ever went to was Oxford New Age Fayre '85 -
no Dave! or the afternoon show at Treworgy when the pre-amp (or
something) blew and I couldn't hear the band, even in the second row,
because the guy next to me was eating a packet of crisps with his mouth
open (or something) :-) However, both these events were terrific fun
'cos I knew loads of people there and had a few beers etc. I must admit,
I don't find enjoying these things too difficult, I'd make a terrible
reveiwer.
