"EMC" is a common abbreviation in the US for "Emergency Medical
Center". You frequently see EMC on the front of ambulances, rescue
vehicles, etc.
I don't remember the context of EMC in the _song_ at the moment, so
I don't know whether this definition is appropriate or not.
