Price was still 5.00 each last time I heard (which is a while ago now, I
admit!).

The Wierds are live tapes and studio out-takes done by Brock back in
(circa) 1985.   As I understand it they were made in an attempt to
counter the enormous surge of bootleg and/or doubtfully semi-legit
releases of early shows (eg Yuri Gagarin, Text of Festival, Early Daze
etc. etc) that were being put out using rather poor quality tapes.
Hawkwind weren't getting any income from this lot so Brock decided to
make up a set of good quality early stuff and demos using his own tapes.

On the whole they are extremely good - and are certainly of considerable
interest - however when somebody then went out and bootlegged the 103
tape onto vinyl the Wierd Tape production came to a rather abrupt halt.

However Wolden Studios are still more than happy to send out tapes on
request so write now if you'd like some!

Try Moonloop if you can find it (single CD).  obParadise is a hot bath,
loads of bath foam and Moonloop on endless replay.....
